The Orillia Vocal Ensemble is an 70-80 member community choir committed to raising community awareness of important, local charities, as well as raising funds for them through proceeds from our concerts and performances. Since forming eight years ago, the OVE has raised over $150,000 for local organizations which include:
We fulfill our mission through a unique new financial model. Choir operating expenses are paid, not through ticket sales, but through membership dues and sponsorships. Since our audience can attend for free, audience members are asked instead to make personal donations directly to the featured charity during a short presentation by that charity midway through the concert.
There are other substantial costs associated with operating a choir of this size: the purchase of sheet music, rental of rehearsal space, and staff compensation (to name a few) all factor into the OVE Budget each year.
As the OVE continues to grow musically we would love to have your support of our fundraising mission!. There are three levels of annual sponsorship that we respectfully ask you to consider.

All sponsorships will include recognition in our programs, posters, website and at our events. Sponsorships at the Bravo and Encore levels could include (among other things) the sponsorship of one or two pieces of music for our concert programs, and recognition in the program of the first concert in which they are performed.
